Between Monday 17 and Thursday 20 August, Sutton and East Surrey Water will be carrying out repairs to a leaking water main on the A23 Brighton Road. To facilitate this work Brighton Road will be closed southbound only, between Farthing Way and The Avenue, towards Coulsdon.
As a result, local bus routes will be diverted as follows:
Route 60 or N68 towards Old Coulsdon
From Brighton Road, ahead Farthing Way, bear left Farthing Way slip, left Marlpit Lane to normal line of route
Route 166 or 404 towards Banstead or Coulsdon
From Brighton Road, ahead Farthing Way, bear left Farthing Way slip, right Marlpit Lane, right at roundabout third exit Brighton Road, left Lion Green Road, left Chipstead Valley Road to normal line of route
Route 405 towards Redhill:
From Brighton Road, ahead Farthing Way, bear left Farthing Way slip, right Marlpit Lane, left at roundabout first exit Brighton Road to normal line of route
Route 434 towards Cane Hill:
From Marplit Lane, right at roundabout third exit Brighton Road, left Lion Green Road, ahead Woodcote Grove Road, right The Avenue, right Brighton Road to normal line of route
