CCC AGM Nov 2013 & public meeting

Reports of the officers were presented at the reconvened AGM, the new constitution was adopted and a new committee was voted in. A series of public meetings, to be held in different locations across the borough, was outlined.

The discussion following the AGM highlighted issues in Croydon, including:

  • Pollution
  • Policing
  • Parking
  • The Arts
  • Rubbish, whether it be refuse, recycling or fly-tipping. The committee agreed to arrange a meeting on this subject, as priority.

A working group was set up to formulate a mission statement, more appropriate name for the organisation, and a logo.

The new committee and officers are as follows:

Chair: Elizabeth Ash

Vice Chair: Clive Locke

Treasurer: Roger Clark

Secretary: Marzia Nicodemi-Ehikioya

Membership Secretary: Janet Stollery

General members: Mahub Bhatti, Said Otmani, Peter Staveley.

Thank you to those who attended and to those who were unable to make the meeting but who sent apologies and, in some cases, also offered suggestions and comments.

CCC is open to everyone with an interest in Croydon.
