Norbury Brook Alliance invite you to Norbury Brook Winter spruce up on 3 Nov 2018

Help clean up Norbury Brook in Thornton Heath Rec with Norbury Brook Alliance.

Health and safety at 10:00am, then on to the action!

Please bring stout wellies if you want to get in the Brook or you could help litter pick on the pathway if you prefer.

The Council will be providing litter picking equipment and arranging collection of litter and recyclables after the event.


They look forward to seeing you. All welcome but under 16s should be accompanied by a parent.

Call for people to attend South Norwood’s ward panel meeting

“I am a PCSO on the South Norwood Safer Neighbourhood Team. We are currently looking for local residents around the South Norwood ward area who would be interested in attending a quarterly Ward Panel meeting where local issues are discussed.

We hope to hold the meeting this November.”

Purley Oaks Primary School Winter Wonderland Fair – stalls & advertising booking NOW!

Friends of Purley Oaks Primary School are getting ready for their annual Winter Wonderland Fair which will be held on 15 December.

Last year this event raised just over £2,000, BUT this year Purley Oaks Primary School have set the friends group a huge challenge as the school needs a class set of laptops which will cost approximately £15,000.00!
