Croydon Art Society – Exhibition at Fairfield Halls – 16 to 28 November 2015

The Croydon Art Society will be holding its 126th Annual Exhibition in the Sun Lounge at Fairfield Halls in Croydon from Monday 16 November to Saturday 28 November 2015. Admission to this exhibition is free, and it it will be open for viewing between 10.30am and 10.30pm daily.

The Croydon Art Society is believed to be one of the oldest Art Societies in England, outside of London.

Paintings, as well as postcards of members’ works will be on display and for sale, and one work of art will be raffled, the proceeds of which will be donated to Charity.   Visitors to the exhibition are assured of seeing work of the highest standard.

The Croydon Art Society has this year, for the first time, produced a Calendar for 2016 illustrated with paintings by Society members.

This calendar has a page at the back with details of the society, its activities and membership.   The calendar costs £5 and will be available at the annual exhibition, or may be obtained by contacting the Society Chairman, Brian Gale (tel  01737 555751) at which time the cost of postage will be added if required.

Box office partnership with Wallace Arnold Worldchoice
You can buy tickets at Wallace Arnold Worldchoice at 62 George Street.  They are on the Clocktower side of George Street, close to Wellesley Road but in the section adjacent to North End. Opening hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4.30pm Saturday.

Normal prices will apply to cash or debit card sales, with a small (2%) charge applying to credit card sales. Bookings will be possible at this location from Wednesday 6 May onwards.

David Lean Cinema: how to book
Tickets for all screenings are £7.50. Concessions (persons aged 60 and over, full time students, claimants and people with disabilities) £6. Bookings can be made:

Telephone: Phone 0333 666 3366 (a £1.50 charge applies, which covers any number of tickets). Note that this is specifically a Ticketsource service and staff cannot answer any queries unrelated to bookings.

Croydon Clocktower: our Clocktower box office, located next to the Arts Bar, is open for one hour before every film. Tickets can be purchased for all films, subject to availability. This location is CASH ONLY.

All the above services close 2.5 hours before any particular film, with the exception of the Clocktower box office.
