This meeting will be without set agenda.  Anyone can propose a topic for discussion or provide a notice and priority will be given to those noting details as a comment on this post.

There will also be local information on display and copies to take away.

Feel free to leave a comment, note a notice you want to present or a topic for discussion as a comment on this post, or email us.

Our meetings are open to all and are strictly apolitical.

Doors open at 7pm, when tea and coffee will be available and you’ll have the chance to meet others attending.

The meeting will start by 7.30pm.

There will be brief introductions and notices.

Any invited speakers will then speak and take questions.

The meeting will then be open for you to share your views, offer a notice or propose a topic for discussion.

We will aim to finish around 8.45pm to allow those attending to speak informally, to clear up, and for us to vacate the venue by 9pm.

Please book a free place on Eventbrite here:

This helps us to cater for numbers and ensures that the meeting is not delayed.

If you prefer you can email us at and we can book for you.

Download a copy of the flyer to share, here.

Getting there:
There is no general parking available at this venue, but its central location on good transport links should make it accessible to all. We may be able to cater for blue badge holders, so please get in touch well ahead of the event if this affects you.

The hall is to the rear of the Church, accessed through the gate in the fencing to the left of the main Church entrance.

And feel free to add your questions and comments to this post ahead of the event.

You can also join our mailing list to get an invitation to our events and occasional updates via email by emailing with your name and Add me in the subject line.

CCC AGM 2016 – minutes and notes of public meeting

Thanks to everyone who attended our AGM and the public meeting that followed.  All who attended were emailed with a copy of the notes for comment prior to finalising.

Here are the minutes of the AGM and related reports:

Chair’s Report

CCC Accounts summary – AGM 2016

And here are the notes of the public meeting that followed:

Notes of Public meeting – 30 Nov 2016

These include a policing update and Q and A on the redevelopment of Queen’s Gardens and the Taberner House site.

The notices of the meeting were posted on the website directly after the meeting, here.

Please don’t forget to have your say on the NHS Croydon CCG’s proposed change to prescribing. Find the CCG’s PowerPoint presentation from our public meeting the week prior, here.

screen-shot-2016-12-17-at-00-42-59You can also still have your say on the redevelopment of Taberner House and redesign of Queen’s Gardens by engaging in the consultation. This includes further opportunities to contribute to groups set up on different aspects of the project.

There is also a public meeting on 19 January 2016 where you can meet the architects and developers, see the plans and have your say.

Thank you to those who kindly made donations to the food bank at the Croydon Refugee Day Centre, West Croydon.  These have been delivered to the centre along with other donations collected at St Michael’s.

Forward meeting plan
Our next public meeting will be in January 2017 and we are waiting to hear from the council regarding the availability of a council officer who can attend as we’d like to revisit the topic of RUBBISH – Refuse, recycling and fly-tipping. We have provisionally pencilled in Monday 16 January 2017 for this.

Forward meeting dates and venues have been planned and will be announced as soon as each is finalised.

Current plans are to hold a meeting in association with the council on crowdfunding. We’d hoped to do so in February but we may dedicate the February meeting to discussing 20 mph as the borough-wide consultation has been approved by the council, ending in February, and move the crowdfunding meeting to March.

We’d love to hear your views, so do let us know, either by posting comments here or emailing us at

Everyone is very welcome to attend any of our events.

And anyone can support our work by taking up membership and/or donating to support our work.
