Borough Commander asks Croydon community to assist the police investigation into double homicide in Thornton Heath

The Borough Commander, Chief Superintendent Dave Stringer, addressed a meeting he called on the evening of 5 July, 2019, to appeal to the community for any information that might help identify the person who fatally stabbed heavily pregnant Kelly Mary Fauvrelle in her home one week ago.

Sadly she and her unborn child, Riley, died as a consequence of this attack.

The meeting also sought to hear concerns in the local community around this incident.

 

Three CCC committee members attended, with the Chair live-tweeting on the night.

Anyone with any information should contact police on the dedicated incident room number of 020 8721 4005, or ring 101 quoting CAD 1358/29 Jun. Alternatively, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Croydon’s Borough Commander asks community for help with info to solve double homicide in Thornton Heath

The Borough Commander, Chief Superintendent Dave Stringer, addressed a meeting tonight to appeal to the community for any information that might help to identify the person who fatally stabbed heavily pregnant Kelly Mary Fauvrelle in her home one week ago.

The 6 actions agreed at the meeting were as follows:

  1. Police to circulate the clips of the person Police wish to talk to.Everyone was encouraged to circulate it widely and to report anything they know.
    These are posted below.

     

  2. Discuss the anniversary visit which is taking place Saturday 6th July morning at 0200. 

    Everyone was also asked to circulate this widely and there are details in the first Met Police information below. 

  3. Police made a commitment to deliver an additional dedicated officer to Thornton Heath, Early Autumn 2019.
  4. The Police will identify officers dedicated to working with youth teams and supplementary education providers.
  5. Cllr Hamida Ali will ensure that the Council circulate the community safety strategy to the group.
  6. The Police will commence community walk-alongs with police and the community patrolling Thornton Heath together (Police and community)

Dementia Carers event at Haselmere Hall – 23 May, 2019

This event is open to everyone, regardless of their ethnic background.

Dementia carers may bring their cared for (if they wish) as there will have an activity session for people with dementia.
