Public meeting: Croydon Libraries revisited – 16 Dec

Five Croydon libraries are under threat.  A consultation is promised in the new year.

Join the meeting to find out more, discuss the issues and connect with others.

UPDATE:
The Cabinet member and Shadow Cabinet member had been invited to attend to speak, to hear your views and respond to your questions, but since booking the meeting an Extraordinary Council meeting has been called so it is unlikely that they or any other councillor will be able to make this meeting.

The meeting will be held online, via Zoom

Please ensure that you book a free place to attend.

****Details of how to join the meeting will be sent out following booking and these are unique to you so cannot be shared.*****

You will need to have a Zoom account in the name and email address you use to book.

Make sure you are logged into your Zoom account and click on the link on the emails you will be sent. The easiest way to join is to log into your Eventbrite account and click on the link there. It will look like this:Eventbrite Zoom Meeting image

The greyed out ‘Starts in 2 days’ box will change to a ‘Join Now’ button, with a countdown to the meeting start time of 7pm.

You will be able to see this as soon as you book, so do check ahead and get in touch if you have problems as we cannot sort out issues late in the day or during the meeting.

We will open the meeting at least 15 minutes before the meeting start time and you can click join now on the day and wait in the waiting room to be admitted.

Our meetings are open to all and are strictly apolitical.

Arrangements
The meeting will start at 7.pm so please join in the 15 minutes prior to this to allow all to join in good time for a prompt start. Please ensure you have a Zoom account (this could be a free account) in your name linked to your email account to ensure you are admitted to the meeting.

The meeting will be recorded, as usual, to allow the committee to take notes of topics and any actions.  The committee may also take a photo or two.

The meeting will close at 8.30 pm

It is free to attend but donations to support our work or taking out paid membership are welcomed.
