Appeal to identify men after disorder at Crystal Palace v Aston Villa at Selhurst Park on 32 Aug 2019

18 January, 2020:

The Metropolitan Police have released the following appeal

Officers want to identify eight people following disorder at a Crystal Palace v Aston Villa football match on 31 August last year.

At the end of the match at Selhurst Park, a goal was disallowed and a number of Aston Villa fans ran onto the area near the pitch, attacking stewards and later police.

A number of individuals have been arrested and we are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the people in these pictures.

Detective Sergeant Matt Simpson from the Met’s Public Order Investigation Team said:

“People go to football matches for a good time, not to witness or experience violence. It is unacceptable that this happened and with the public’s help we can find those who were prepared to behave in this way. I urge anyone with information to call us on 020 824 693 86 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

The Police have released the following images of the men.
