Are you aware of The Herbert Protocol?

There is nothing more frightening than when a loved one, friend or neighbour goes missing or fails to return when they should.

For people living with Dementia, this could be quite common.

The Herbert Protocol is a national scheme being introduced by the Metropolitan Police and other agencies which encourages carers to compile useful information which could be used in the event of a vulnerable person going missing.

Help find Steven Mubanga! 20 year old, missing from Norbury

Steven Mubanga is a 20 years old from Norbury, and was due to return to the army barracks he is stationed at on 11/1/15. There is no proof that he boarded the train to his destination on that day and he never arrived.

Steven Mubanga 2

Steven is described as a polite, pleasant young man and extremely well thought of by all who know him.  He was enjoying serving in the forces.

Steven has spent a great deal of his time growing up with his Aunt Karen due to the loss of his mum.  Karen is extremely devastated over her nephew’s disappearance, as it is totally out of character for her nephew, who she thinks of as her own son.

He has not used his mobile and has not accessed his bank in the three weeks he has been missing.

Karen, Steven’s family and his friends want Steven to know that he is very loved and missed and is not in any trouble. They just want him home safely.

Karen is appealing to members of the public.  If anyone has seen Steven or thinks they know of his whereabouts would they please contact the Metropolitan Police by dialling 101. They can also free call on 116000.

If you can offer any help in locating Steven, no matter how minor the detail, please do.

Karen’s message to Steven is to please come home, how loved and missed he is and he is not in any trouble.

Find Lucas – Missing from Croydon area – NOW FOUND

Sunday evening 4 January 2015

Lucas has made contact with family and is safe.

Thanks to everyone who shared the information.

Lucas Leonelli is 18 years old and originally from Brazil. He has been living in Shirley, Croydon since April 2014 and worked in Yates’ Bar in Croydon throughout December.

He was reported missing from home since 29/12/14. This is extremely out of character and the family are very worried about him.

He was last seen by one of his work colleagues in Croydon town centre on New Year’s Eve.

He plays the guitar and sometimes wears thick black rimmed fashion type glasses. He has a strong Brazilian accent but speaks good English. He only really knows the Croydon area so the family think he will be somewhere local to Croydon.

If you have any information please contact the family via the Facebook or contact the Metropolitan Police, quoting CAD reference 8799 of 1st January 2015.

This is the most recent image taken of Lucas.
