Croydon Seventh-Day Adventist Church is holding a series of free plant-based cookery sessions on the third Thursday of each month, through to the third Thursday in November 2019.
Steve Iles, Director of Public Realm, Croydon Council, provided the following information for residents as a result of questions raised at the February meeting:
For reporting missed collections, the preferred route is via the MyAccount system. It’s directly integrated with the contractor’s system, so automatic.
All residential properties (including flats, so communal collections) are listed and residents need to register themselves and add their address. This will pull down the waste collection details and the ability to report missed collections and/or book things like garden waste or bulky waste collections.
Information is provided on MyAccount about whether roads have been collected from and if a property is locked out due to bins being not presented, contaminated etc. If either of these is shown, the council will not return until the next scheduled collection day. Full details about the service are on the Council’s website at https://www.croydon.gov.uk/environment/rrandw/collection/resident/bin-collection
This is the latest leaflet regarding ways to report environmental issues. It is slightly out of date as the Council has upgraded the App. Follow this link to see further information including a link to download the most current App.
