International Women’s Day 2017 in Croydon – a week of events starting on 6 March #BeBoldForChange

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.  This year’s theme is Be Bold For Change.

Croydon Council’s Women’s Staff Network and its partners will be marking and celebrating International Women’s Day 2017 with a week-long of activities and events, namely Croydon International Women’s Week.  This will be held from Monday, March 6, 2017.

 

The launch event will be taking place on Mon 6th Mar, from 5.30-8.00 pm at BoxPark.  The evening will consist of performances from local artists and poets, a panel of Croydon’s very own women leaders and renowned guest speaker Dr. Ava Eagle Brown.
