Croydon Healthy Homes events – helping residents heat their homes and reduce fuel bills – 28 Feb 2019 at Norbury Library


Croydon Council is running a series of public events across the borough where residents can get free energy advice, and find out more about practical support available to Croydon residents, including free home visits through Croydon Healthy Homes. Qualified energy assessors who can provide free independent energy bill and tariff advice will be available at these events.

The latest figures from the Department of Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) indicate 16,235 Croydon households are living in fuel poverty, which is 10.7% of the households in the borough.

Friday 15 February 2019 was National Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, which highlights the pressing issue of fuel poverty and the importance of ensuring that vulnerable people have access to a warm, dry, safe home.

The latest figures from the Department of Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) indicate 16,235 Croydon households are living in fuel poverty, which is 10.7% of the households in the borough.
