Carers Week 11-17 June 2018 is the national celebration of unpaid carers’ contribution to our communities, supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Over 33,000 people have a caring role for a friend, relative or neighbour in the Croydon borough alone.
Events in Croydon
The Carers Support Centre’s jam-packed events programme includes Tai Chi tasters, massage, two information marketplaces, a health and wellbeing workshop, a pub quiz, international celebrations and much more.
All events are free to Croydon carers, though some require advance booking.

Are you planning to hold an event?

This year’s theme
This year’s national Carers Week theme is Healthy and Connected, and the Carers Information Service is raising awareness of loneliness in carers and its impact on health and wellbeing.
The #CarerConversations campaign aims to encourage communities, organisations, businesses and employers to do their bit to help carers feel more connected. Visit their website to find out how to get involved: http://www.carersinfo.org.uk/whats-on/carers-week-2018.
