The Salvation Army’s The Vine foodbank in New Addington seeks donations for Christmas packs

The VineCan you help The Salvation Army with donations for The Vine, their food bank in New Addington?

Stocks are running very low due to increased demand and they really need your help.

They are particularly looking for the following food and gift items to make up Christmas packs for clients their serve…

The Vine foodbank is particularly short of the following:

  • Shloer

  • Custard powder sachets

  • Carton of long-life fruit juice

Please ensure donate items are regular/family-sized as The Vine cannot split bulk packs into smaller packets for hygiene reasons.

Gifts are also sought!

Where can I drop off donate items?
There are food donation boxes for The Vine in Sainsbury’s Selsdon, Sainsbury’s West Wickham or Lidl New Addington.

Anyone is welcome to drop off donations to the Salvation Army foodbank in New Addington when it is open on Tuesdays and Friday evenings from 7-8pm. The Vine is located in Salcot Crescent, New Addington.  There is a narrow driveway between houses 11 and 13, and The Vine is down this drive and on the right.

You can also drop items to CCC Chair, Elizabeth Ash, near to Sanderstead Station, who is happy to pass on donations to The Vine
