Croydon Council’s response to Local Plan to be covered at Council meeting on Monday 5 December 2016

Many individuals and groups will have responded to the latest consultation on the Local Plan. The Council’s response to that consultation will be going to the full Council meeting on 5 December 2016, commencing at 6.30pm.

Residents may like to ask a public question at this meeting. If this relates to the local plan, the question would be responded to by Cllr Alison Butler, who is the Cabinet Member responsible for the plan.

Public questions need to be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 2 December 2016. Please read details of how to do this and the process at www.croydon.gov.uk/democracy/dande/council-questions/ask-question as the system has changed recently.

  1. It really is all getting a bit ridiculous. With so much going on and the Council taking short cuts I see no way that any part time councillor let alone a member of the public can be fully informed about what’s going on. Croydon Council is becoming an autocratic authority making it’s own decisions, taking short cuts and is without proper scrutiny. See Sean Creighton’s article https://seancreighton1947.wordpress.com/2016/12/02/time-for-all-croydon-councillors-to-reject-authoritarian-rubber-stamping/
