“Dear Resident,

Over the last month several offenders have been identified as being responsible for the antisocial behaviour taking place on mopeds/bikes in and around Shrublands, as well as Kennel Woods and Shirley Heath.

Several of the offenders have been processed by the Shirley Safer Neighbourhood Team for criminal offences and through a multi-agency partnership approach have received Acceptable Behaviour Contracts from Croydon Council.

Over the last two weeks the amount of phone calls we have received regarding moped/bike nuisance has dropped drastically. We have gone from roughly 20 calls a week since the start of the year, down to two calls in the last two weeks.

Hopefully, the situation will remain this way, however if it does escalate again then please keep on contacting us via the usual channels and we will take action as appropriate.

We are still working on intelligence with a view to securing several more Acceptable Behaviour Contracts. We will keep you updated with how we progress.

Stay safe.
