CCC Public Meeting – East Croydon – Thursday 19 November 2015

Please join us for our public meeting at

Clyde Hall
Clyde Road

7pm – 9pm

Anyone with an interest in Croydon is welcome to attend any of our public meetings and meetings are apolitical.

As is the case with all our general public meetings, the body of this meeting will be open, with no set agenda.

The topics discussed will be led by those attending.*

Come along with information, notices or updates you’d like to share, topics you’d like discussed, or just come along to listen and have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion.

*Topics for discussion
We are inviting people to suggest topics for discussion to kick off the meeting. Please add a comment on this post to indicate a topic of interest. There will still be plenty of opportunities to raise a topic for discussion or highlight a notice on the night.

Councillors, council officers and the Croydon Met Police are invited to our meetings.

Please book a free place on Eventbrite here:
This helps us to cater for numbers and ensures that we can start the meeting promptly.

Getting there, travel and access:
Nearest stations: East Croydon (Southern mainline), Sandilands or Lebanon Road (Tramlink)

Buses 466, 194, 198 alighting at Sandilands tram stop.

There is a small car park but spaces are limited.  There is on-street parking in surrounding roads.

Doors open at 7pm, when tea and coffee will be available and you’ll have the chance to meet others attending.

We will aim to start the meeting at 7.20pm and aim to finish early to allow those attending to network and for us to vacate the venue by 9pm.

Those who have not pre-booked will be asked to register on the door and those who have pre-booking will be given preference if numbers exceed capacity.

  1. What is the current position regarding the Planning Application for the Baptist Church site in Purley? Is it still the intention to build a 16 storey development?

  2. Pingback: Croydon November Events | History & Social Action News and Events

  3. At the meeting I’d like to raise the issue of how long it takes to cross Barclay Road by the light assisted crossings.
