DIABETES – ARE YOU AT RISK?
It is estimated that more than 3.9 million people (one in 16) in the UK has diabetes (diagnosed or undiagnosed) which is estimated to rise to five million people by 2025.
The Woodcote Medical Patient Participation Group (PPG) is holding a health talk on
‘DIABETES: CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT’
at the Purley Surgery

between 7.00pm and 8.30pm
Their guest speaker is Dr Masud Haq BA (Hons) MBBS (Hons) MRCP MD, Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology at the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
This is an opportunity for you to update your knowledge and put your questions to the speaker, Dr Masud Haq, and the Practice staff.
The event is free of charge. Patients at the practice and other local residents are very welcome to attend.
Free refreshments will be available from 6.30pm.
