July is Ethnic Minority Cancer Awareness month – Events at Croydon BME Forum

Risq Animasaun is the BME Mental Health, Community Development Worker at Croydon BME Forum. She is running a series of free health promotion events during July and is also available to come out to conduct talks to interested groups in the Croydon community.

I have been chosen by the Ethnic minority cancer awareness month to organise and take part in the Bowel Cancer Programme as the regional lead in London. I am organising four bowel cancer specific awareness sessions during the month of July 2015.

I have invited expert speakers on bowel cancer to give talks to four different BME community groups, with a minimum of 25 attendees for each session. The Awareness talks are on the following dates and times:


9th of July 12- 2pm
17th July 12- 2pm
21st July 12-2pm
25th July 12-2pm.
